Post Mortem US Election 2020

While I do not think this elections is particularly more important than others in US history, I do think it is peculiar in its context (The year of the Cat, Bat? No, Bat) and in the amount of steps that Biden took before getting to his speaker stand, to play cat & mouse. On the ring, ready to debate about American families, ethnicities (The word ''race'' was used in most medias - I despise it), climate change, national security, and leadership, basically all the things that make Trump want to divide and Biden want to unite.

Here we are. Two days after election day. Ballots are still being counted in key states and the world, some parts more than others, are holding their breaths. Two very extreme reactions. After Biden called for patience while workers continued to count, Trump attacked the legitimate counting of votes and claimed Victory. This takes me back to when Trump asked his campaign manager to request a re-evaluation of the main debate topics, and to [...] "rethink and reissue" the topics. Biden, on the other hand, had a ''horse whisperer'' at his ear, saying: it'll be ok Biden, just breathe .. wear your mask, thank your wife and repeat Obama's words ... Sound smarter than Trump, cuz we expect he will use your elementary school grades against you.

Two extreme reactions. One is undeniably coming from a business minded individual, and the other well .. quite passive. RIP US elections 2020. Where is the Kanye West vote box?

The song ''The Year of the Cat'' Live. I couldn't find one with ''The Year of the Bat'' Some of my readers have asked me why I always use song references in my blogs. The answer is I don't know. It just happens, and I feel like I have done it a lot in the past ... It inspires me. There is a song for everything .. or rather, any song can be turned into any meaning you want it to have.
