Lockdown, lockdown ready

Gimme gimme .. gimme just a little time. You'd have guessed. Sunshine? Reggae? Not quite. Gloomy, grey .. that's right. Nationwide lockdown is just around the corner, and they've got a message for us. V1, V2, 2.0? I overstayed my time in tech! That's it, what if there were no tech? Retro pandemic. Sunshine Reggae, a song born in 1983 from a, in my opinion, underrated band that made this song their most memorable one. Underrated band. Super track. Underrated virus. Super Lockdown.

As I am unwinding with random songs on my ''liked'' Spotify library, the song came up and I thought: What would lockdown have been in the eighties? Answer, having to get off the couch to change the channel. Or .. wait. What would the content of the channels be? The release of the first ever Mario Bros game, ''modern'' invasion (still bringing democracy, innit), Thatcherism (what?) ... signatures of this, signatures for that. Is it any better today? I still need to get off the couch to get me a third glass of wine. Gimme, gimme .. gimme just a little time...
